Bill Park - trombonist, clinician and music educator, served as Director of Jazz Studies at Seattle Pacific University from 1997 to 2012. In addition to directing the SPU Jazz Ensemble, Bill also instructed the low brass studio, jazz improvisation and brass pedagogy.
Active in music education, Mr. Park is in demand as a clinician, adjudicator, guest artist and has served as an artist in residence for the Seattle Public Schools, working with at risk students in low income areas of the metropolitan Seattle area.
Bill has performed with such distinguished artists as Greg Adams, Bobby Shew, George Cables and Ashley Alexander and with the San Diego Light Opera, Plano Texas Chamber Orchestra, Federal Way Symphony, Orchestra Seattle, Brass Reflections Quintet, the Hal Crook Big Band, The Jim Cutler Jazz Orchestra, The Smith-Staelens Big Band and the Windjammer Jazz Orchestra.
Mr. Park received his musical training while attending San Diego State University and studied trombone with James Prindle, Mearle Hogg, Stephen Fissel, Vincent Clarke and Stewart Dempster.

Lessons are given in Edmonds, near downtown and Yost Park. Parents are always welcome to attend the lessons at any time or sit and enjoy the relaxing view of Puget Sound.
Lessons for Tenor/Bass Trombone, Euphonium (baritone) and Tuba. Studies include both jazz and
classical literature.
Lessons are given once each week and are available for half and full hour durations.
In each lesson we work on tone production, technical studies, solo/duet repertoire and improvisation. We may also work on school music as needed.
Students are coached for solo, ensemble and honor band participation.
